Owna Kragh Sullivan, 96, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2022 at her longtime home of 72 years.

She was born to Agnes and Linn G. Kragh on October 26, 1926 on the family estate, Longevity, where she eventually built a home one mile away on the farm where she lived out her life with her beloved husband, Marshall R. Sullivan Sr. "Snookie".

She graduated from La Plata High School. She was an accomplished cook, seamstress, and an avid reader. She celebrated Christmas with a passion. Owna was an active member of the Charles County Woman's Club and the Lutheran Church. She worked as the Beauty Inspector for the Southern Maryland Region for several years. She spent 20 plus winters in Florida with her husband Snookie and their long-time friends.

In addition to her parents, Owna is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Marshall "Snookie" Sullivan, eight brothers, and two sisters.

She is survived by her brother Clarence Kragh, four children; Marshall R. Sullivan, Jr. (Dorothy Gardiner – Deceased), Linda Sullivan Cox (Donald R. Cox, Sr. – Deceased), Deborah Sullivan Payne (Michael Payne), and Ronald G. Sullivan (Tya Woodson), 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Raymond Funeral Service, 5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens,
3221 Mattawoman Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601 at 11:30 AM.
