Florence Cecelia "GG" Nuzzi, our Mom, our Mamaw, and our GG., 92, of Waldorf, MD, died February 12, 2009, at Civista Medical Center, La Plata, MD.

Mrs. Nuzzi was a homemaker and a member of St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Seat Pleasant, MD. She enjoyed bingo, crafts, crocheting, and duck-pin bowling. In her earlier years, she was involved with the Teen Club at Carmody Hills, MD. She met her husband while roller skating.

Born May 13, 1916, in New York, she was the daughter of the late William Ernst and the late Florence Hughes Ernst.

Predeceased by her parents; husband, Philip O. Nuzzi.

Survived by sons, Tom and his wife Bev Nuzzi of Waldorf, MD; and Ken and his wife Sue Nuzzi of Baltimore, MD; five grandchildren, Tommy Nuzzi, Jr., Dawn Nuzzi-Bush, Matthew, Alison, and Colleen Nuzzi; three great-grandchildren, Angelina Bush, Isabella and Olivia Nuzzi.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 19, 2009, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

Funeral Service will be Friday, February 20, 2009, at 10 AM at Trinity Baptist Church, Waldorf, MD. Reverend John Farris and the Reverend Fred Caudle will officiate.

Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD.
