Ruth Marie Pickeral, 72, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. Born on November 6, 1949, in Rison, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Donnie and Ruby (Wheeler) Jenkins. Ruth was an insurance customer service representative since graduating Lackey High School in 1968. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents; Ruth was preceded in death by her brothers Dick, Joe, Sidney, Tommy, William, Clarence, Arthur, Donald, James; and sisters Evelyn and Theresa.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband Richard "Tubby" Pickeral; Brother David; Sisters Sally, Jennel, Mary Jean, and Nancy. Along with many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. at Raymond Funeral Service P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646.
A viewing will be held on October 7, 2022, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am at Raymond Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, with internment immediately following, at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 4585 St Josephs Way, Pomfret, Maryland with Deacon Johnny Barnes.
