Christine Ann "Chrissy" Wible Brown, 50, of Lexington Park, MD died February 10, 2009 at her residence. Born January 22, 1959 in Leonardtown, MD she was the daughter of the late Alan Howard and Rita Florine Johnson Wible.

She was the loving wife of Anthony Allen Brown whom she married on July 12, 2006 in Leonardtown, MD.

She is survived by her husband Anthony Allen Brown of Lexington Park, MD and her siblings Sandra Smith of McKays Beach, Parran Wible of Virginia Beach, VA, Mary Reeder of California, MD, Susan Combs of Leonardtown, MD and Larry Wible of St. Mary's City. She was also preceded in death by her brother Gary Wible.

Chrissy graduated from Great Mills High School, "Class of 1977" and she took some college courses in Software Technology. She worked as a Public Liason Assistant for the Commander at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Patuxent River, MD where she retired on January 1996 from the Office of Protocal. Her energetic spirit greeted many a visitor during the time she worked at Patuxent River.

When both of her parents were ailing, she was the one called upon when everyone else was at work or busy with something. She herself had a debilitating back problem but was always available when someone needed her. Chrissy loved gardening and watching old movies. She collected pottery especially sugar bowls and creamers. She also enjoyed shopping for bargains being especially clever at finding unique jewelry and purses. Chrissy was a supporitive and caring person throughout her whole life. We appreciated her memory of things in detail of past events, she was very much like her Grandfather Johnson in that way. Chrissy will be missed by her family and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 13, 2009 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Matthew Combs, Jonathan West and Shane Weasonforth. Honorary Pallbearers will be Darren Smith, Tommy Wible, Corey Reeder and Glenn Johnson.
