Rosemary "Rosie" Morgan, II, 67 of Valley Lee, MD, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown MD.
Rosie was born on Saturday, April 9, 1955 to the late Thomas Cornelius and Rose Mary Morgan I in Valley Lee, MD. She attended Great Mills High School and was employed by the ARC of St. Mary's County for many years until her health began to fail. During her leisure time, Rosie enjoyed playing Bingo, Keno and working crossword puzzles. In addition, she also loved to watch her favorite TV shows, Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune and Gunsmoke. In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by six brothers, Thomas Stevenson, Bobby Everette, Thomas Alexander, James Lewis (Rebecca), Charles Edward, Joseph Kennedy Morgan and two sisters, Lucy Mae and Arlene Rebecca Morgan. Rosie leaves to cherish her precious memories to her daughter, Lisa Monique Morgan and lifelong companion, Jerry Tom Glenn, of Valley Lee, MD; two grandchildren, Jalisha LaShawn Morgan of Jacksonville, FL and Reshaun Akeem Williams of Hollywood, MD; one great-granddaughter, Malaysia Ar'nae McCoy of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by four brothers, Robert Elwood, James Calvin, Eric Matthew Morgan and Charles Junior Gladden; four sisters, Sadie Louise, Frances Eloise, Mary Agnes Morgan and Julian Lorraine (Michael) Wood; one sister-in-law, Theresa F. Morgan; a special sister, Clarissa J. Smith and special cousin, Flouarine Taylor-Brown, along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Family and friends will unite on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 for visitation at 10 am until time of service at 11 am at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 38576 Brett Way, Mechanicsville, MD. Interment to follow at St. Mark UAME church cemetery, Valley Lee, MD. |
