Leanne Catherine Willett, 54 of Mechanicsville MD passed peacefully in her home on August 13, 2022.
Born on September 22, 1967, to Patricia Helen Elder and Lee James Elder in Washington D.C.
Along with her parents Leanne is predeceased by her brother William Joseph Elder (Billy).
She is survived by her loving husband Brian Willett of 16 years, and brother Guy Douglas Elder. Her best friend Beth Clayton and her daughter Jaquelyn Watts and granddaughter Ella Rose Watts.
Leanne worked as an IT specialist at the US Environmental Protection Agency for 27 years. Leanne enjoyed life and loved helping people and animals. Leanne was always there to brighten the lives of others. She was a kind and gentle person, who loved spending time with her family and friends. Leanne truly was an inspiration to all who knew her, and she will be missed greatly by many. Leanne was an avid traveler and a great friend, Boston Terrier lover and all around great human being.
At Leanne's request there will not be a celebration of life or any other form of gathering.
