Elaine H Moses, 102, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away August 13, 2022.
Born on March 3, 1920 in Charleston (Kanawha) West Virginia. Elaine was daughter of the late Lark William and Beatrice Elizabeth (Henderson) Harden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Lemon Henry Moses, Jr.
Elaine worked for CIA and US Postal Service until she retired in 1972. Elaine was a parishioner of
St. Peter's Catholic Church of Waldorf, MD. She had attended College of Southern Maryland prior to her getting her Bachelor Degree of Human Development from St. Mary's College of Maryland. Elaine was part of the Spanish Club and Catholic Daughters of America.
Elaine is survived by her son Lawrence Michael (Mike) Moses and daughter Yvonne Moses Bufford.
Elaine has 3 grandchildren Trina Michelle Moses Hamilton, Thomas R. Freeman III,
Kutemique L. Freeman, and a great grandchild Noah Hamilton.
Visitation for Elaine will be on August 22, 2022 from 9AM-10AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church,
3320 St. Peter's Drive Waldorf, MD 20601 with a 10 AM mass following. Elaine will be buried on
August 29, 2022 at 11:15AM at MD Veterans of Cheltenham, 11301 Crain Highway Cheltenham,
MD 20623.
