Lawrence Vincent Lucas II, 45, of La Plata, Maryland, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

Born on February 16, 1977 in Washington, DC, he is the beloved son of Amanda Karen Lucas and the late Lawrence Vincent Lucas. A graduate of La Plata High School and the IBEW Electrician Program, Vincent worked for NASA and Lin Tech as an Electrician. He enjoyed collecting rare and exotic guns, rid-ing his motorcycle, and going to Ocean City, Maryland. He was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Mary's Catholic Church New-port in Charlotte Hall.

In addition to his mother Amanda, Vincent is survived by his uncle Howard "Sonny" Goldey; many cousins including Denise Herbert, Anna Proctor, Madyline Clements, Christine Gatton, Scott Lucas, Helen Marie Lucas, Richard Lucas, Kimberly Lucas, Sonny Goldey, and Joey Goldey; also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 9AM until time of Mass at 11AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church Newport, 11555 St. Mary's Church Road, Charlotte Hall, Maryland 20622.

Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
