James Dudley Gibson (Jimmy), age 84, died at his home in Huntingtown, Md. on Nov 3, 2006.

James was a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the American Legion. His passions were fishing and fanning. James was a devoted brother to his sister Marjorie Speer. He was a quiet and private man, but he loved his family and always found time to check on their welfare and find out what was happening in their lives. He enjoyed sincere fellowship with his friends and neighbors. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

Survived by his sister Marjorie Speer; nieces: Barbara Powell, Tish Lucas, Brenda Hance and Debra Gibson; nephews: Tommy and Sammy Gibson; great nieces: Margie Lee Sterner, Robyn Holladay, Kirn Smith, Lisa Jones; and great nephews: Sonny and Scott Lucas, Kenny and Jason Gibson and Ritchie Gibson.

Pall Bearers: Tommy and Sammy Gibson, Richie Gibson, Jack Gibson, Scott Lucas and Mike Burrell
