Claude William Mister, 89, of Broomes Island passed away on February 5, 2009 in Prince Frederick, MD. Born Dec. 16, 1919 in Broomes Island, MD to the late George E. and Patty Smith Mister. Claude served in the Coast Guard from 1942 to 1946.

Beloved husband of Ida Virginia Mister of Broomes Island, father of Claudette Wise, Glenda Earnest, Nancy Darnell, Martin Mister and the late Shirley Smith. Claude is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a sister Elva Catton and a brother Calvin Mister.

The family will receive friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, PA 4405 Broomes Island Road on Monday February 9, 2009 from 10-11 A.M. where a Memorial service will be held at 11 Am. Interment is private.
