Mary Frances Hamilton, 84, of Mechanicsville, Maryland, formerly of Waldorf, passed away on May 30, 2022 at her home. She was the daughter of the late George W. Clements and Mary L. Clements. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Fred L. Hamilton Sr.; daughter Mary A. Lincoln; sister Barbara A. Buckler.

"Frances", as she was affectionately known, was born on December 1, 1937 in Waldorf, Maryland where she was blessed with a large family that she raised on the "Hill" with her late husband, Fred.

Frances was an avid jokester, prankster, and storyteller who had an infectious, big laugh that made everyone around her smile. She enjoyed spending time with her family making memories that she would share with all who would listen. She enjoyed cooking and was known for her delicious coleslaw and dirt cake recipes. She found joy in tending flowers; a trait passed down from her mother, Mary. Frances never missed watching her soaps, especially "The Young and the Restless," or her favorite game shows "Family Feud" and "The Price Is Right. One of her favorite pastimes was shopping, going to yard sales, and finding a good bargain.

Admired for her strong-will and humorous spirit, Frances leaves behind a legacy that will forever be remembered and cherished by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children; Charles Lincoln, Andrew (Beverly) Lincoln, Keith Hamilton, Fred (Amy) Hamilton Jr., Crystal (Michael) Watson, Kurt (Heather) Hamilton; grandchildren Dale Windsor, Travis Windsor, Autumn Caron, Andrew Lincoln Jr., Sierra Dwyer, Claire Hamilton, Clayton Hamilton, Brock Bowles, and Blake Hamilton; siblings Charlene Dennis, Nancy Blankenship, Adrian Clements, and Jerome Clements.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, from 9:30AM until time of service at 11:30AM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646.

Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland.

Pallbearers are Robert Hamilton, Donald Hamilton, Dale Windsor, Travis Windsor, Andrew Lincoln jr. and Edward Blankenship.
