With the most profound sorrow, we announce that Daniel Buckmire, age 24, our beloved son, brother, grandson, family member, and friend, passed on Thursday, May 19, 2022. Even just a little, those who knew Daniel lost a shining light in their lives. Daniel was born in Fort Pierce, Florida, and moved to Prince Frederick, Maryland, where he would later spend most of his life. He attended and graduated from Calvert High School, Class of 2016, where he was a member of the school's varsity football team. He also attended Chowan University in NC for three years pursuing Sports Science.

Daniel loved his family and friends deeply and cherished the time they would spend together enjoying family dinners, watching movies, or playing board/video games. In his free time, he could be found writing beautiful literary pieces. Daniel shared deep love by often checking in with his siblings, mother, grandmother, and aunt Sydney about their well-being. Daniel would usually bond with them over where he wanted to go in life, both in relationships and overall goals. He was looking forward to becoming a Master Electrician and being an awesome dad.

As an avid sports enthusiast and a lifelong fan of the teams he would often look forward to seeing his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys play during the NFL season. He loved holidays. Thanksgiving was a favorite because it was an opportunity to get all the family together and have a good time. Daniel will be missed every day by his mother, Josanne; his father, Thomas; his girlfriend, Anna and unborn daughter, Danielle; his brothers, Melvin, Nyson, and Jaedon; his sister, Erin; his grandparents, Heather and Myrle; his loving aunt, Sydney, and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and great friends.

Private Interment.
