Albert "Andy" M. Anderson, 83, of Pomfret, MD died on May 3, 2022 at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD.

Andy was born on March 6, 1939 in Leemaster, Virginia to the late Maude Mae (Justice) and Robert Lee Anderson.

Andy enlisted in the United States Army on November 7, 1958, where he served until being Honorably Discharged on May 24, 1962 with the rank of SP4, E-4. He was an autobody collision repair technician at Wagon Work Autobody in Alexandria, VA until he retired in 2000. He was a member of the Kemper-Macon Masonic Lodge #64, Falls Church, VA, and the American Legion. Andy enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, playing cards and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Faye Anderson, brothers; Earnest "Ed" Anderson, Eugene Anderson, and Howard Anderson, sisters; Jeanette Ratliff, Helen Shepherd, and Bunia "Bunny" Wortz.

He is survived by his current wife, Imelda P. Anderson, children; Mike Anderson, Michelle Anderson Case, Beverly Thomas, and Ed Denhof, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brother, David Anderson, and sister, Phyllis Whitt.

Friends will be received on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM until time of Military Honors and memorial service at 12:00 PM at New Life Wesleyan Church, 9690 Shepherds Creek Place, La Plata, MD 20646. A private inurnment will be at a late date at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.
