Timothy Scott "Buck" Croston, 65 of La Plata, MD passed away Friday, April 29, 2022.

He was born on Sept. 11, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio to Olga A. Gamble and the late Robert Lee Croston.

Tim was raised in in Southern MD by Olga and the late Leroy "Buck" Gamble. Tim was affectionally known by all his friends as "Buck", Doctor or The Beastmaster. Buck was just recently preceded in death by oldest brother and best friend Bob "Sundown" Croston in January 2022. Buck was an avid fisherman and a Master painter. In his youth, he could be found fishing down at Allen's Fresh right after school trying to catch that trophy bass. He had many neighborhood friends and loved his football days at La Plata HS. Buck was a graduate of the class of 74 and was nominated as the class clown. As a lot of you might remember his bird calls in the hallways at school. Buck was one of the Original "Chuck County Vandals" which was a Southern MD base Van Club in the 70's. To this day he remained friends with a lot of the original members of the van club. Buck never met a stranger. He would talk to you as if he has known you forever.

He is survived by his mother Olga Gamble of La Plata, MD, his younger brother Greg Croston of Chesapeake Beach, MD, sister Beckie Rich of King George, VA and many other family members that he dearly loved.

A visitation will be held on May 6,2022 from 5:00pm until time of Memorial Service at 6:00pm at Raymond Funeral Service, 5635 Washington Avenue La Plata, MD 20646. Interment will take place at a later date.
