Juanita Inez Dove, 87, of La Plata, MD, formerly of New Market, VA, died January 29, 2009.

Mrs. Dove was a homemaker and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4264 in New Market, VA.

Born August 10, 1921, in Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Ponton and the late Mae Purvis Ponton.

Predeceased by her parents; and her husband, John Donovan Dove.

She is survived by her son John Michael Dove of New Market, VA; her daughters, Donna Lee Perry of Cobb Island, MD; Carol A. Lewis of Pembroke, NH; Nancy L. Tatum of Cummings, GA; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be February 11, 2009, 10:30AM until time of service at 12Noon at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Rev. Mark Roberson will officiate.

Interment will be at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
