Robert Allen Shepherd, 68, of St. Leonard, MD, passed away on April 12, 2022 at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Born on February 6, 1954 in Long Island, NY, he was the son of the late Henry Shepherd II and June G. (Hall) Shepherd.

Robert graduated from Oxon Hill Senior High in 1973. He was a Bindery Machine Specialist for the National Imagery Mapping Agency for twenty five years, retiring on October 31, 1998. Robert enjoyed fishing, working on cars, gardening, sports (Yankees) and spending time with family.

Robert is survived by his wife, Michele (Dieux) Shepherd; his children, Michael Shepherd and Tina Shepherd both of St. Leonard, MD; brother, Brian Shepherd of Lusby, MD; sister, Karen Denney (Charles) of MD and niece, Holly Bennett (Joe) of MD; sister, Bonnie Davidson (Gary) and nephews, Gary Davidson, Jr. and Tyler Davidson of TN; brother, William Shepherd of WV, nephew, William Shepherd, Jr. and niece, Courtnie Shepherd; brother, Douglas Shepherd of MD; brother, Thomas Shepherd (Casey) of MD and niece, Kaitlyn Barnes; brother, Henry Shepherd (Gayle) of MD and nephews, Justin Shepherd and Brandon Shepherd; brother, Scott Shepherd and nieces, Isabelle and Grace Shepherd of FL; and brother, Eric Shepherd of MD, sister and brother in law Jeanette McCully (Jim) of MD; nephews, Christopher Morris (Amanda) of VA and Shaun Shepherd, Brian McCully (Robin) of MD; and nieces, Tammy Peters (Sam) of VA, Christine Manson(Jim); eight grand-nieces and two grand-nephews. He was preceded in death by sister, Marion Morris and her husband Edward Morris, and nephew, Edward Morris, Jr.; brother, Melvin Shepherd; and sister, June Shepherd.
