Gerald Edwin Druin, Sr., 73 of California, MD, formerly of Frederick, MD died on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at Southern Maryland Hospital Center, Clinton, MD.

Born October 26, 1932 in Richmond, VA to the late Leroy E. and Elnora Catherine Druin. Mr. Druin worked in the construction trade as a superintendent in Frederick. He was a member of the Moose Lodge. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, cooking and gardening.

Mr. Druin was the husband of the late Mary Lou Druin. He is survived by his children: Donna Druin of Thurmont, MD Patti Ann Rocus of Frederick, MD, Karen E. Poe of Valdosta, GA., Gerald E. Druin, Jr. of Frederick, MD and Michelle L. Druin of Union Bridge, MD. His siblings Wayne L. Druin of St. Cloud, FL., Barry L. Druin of Chesterfield, VA and Sandra Hatcher of Mechanicsville, MD.

There will be a gathering on Saturday, august 26, 2006 from 3PM to 5PM at the Brisfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. 30196 Three Notch Road, charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Where a memorial service will be held at 3PM. Interment will be private.
