![]() James Brian Thompson, Sr. was born on June 4th, 1966 to James Lawrence Thompson (LT) and Jacqueline Marie Thompson in Prince Georges County, Maryland. On March 10th, 2022 Brian was taken from us unexpectedly. Brian was educated in the St. Mary's County public school system and graduated from Chopticon High School.
After high school, Brian started working with his uncle, Winfield, as a Heavy Equipment Operator to later become employed by Trading Post where he worked alongside his father, and many other family members over the years. Brian was also the proud owner of a Landscaping business for 32 years. Hanging with his brother, Dwayne, Brian met his life partner, Debbie with whom he shared his life with for 40 years. Brian produced three beautiful children Janiero, James Jr. (JT) and Rondell. He adored them! When he wasn't fishing, motorcycling, drag racing, collecting cars for restoration or talking smack, he was spending time with his family and friends. Brian had a heart of gold and everyone he encountered became a friend. If you were in need, he would literally give you the shirt off of his back. Brian is predeceased by his father, James Lawrence Thompson (LT); son, James Brian Thompson Jr. (JT); brother, Dwayne Thompson; sister, JoAnn Thompson-Guignard, and grandparents, Lee and Mary Thompson, and Gwynn "Dee" and Mildred Proctor. Brian is survived by his life partner, Debra Evans; children, Janiero and Rondell Thompson; mother, Jacqueline Thompson; siblings, Lynn Frederick, Deneen Davis (Tim), and Devone Thompson, Sr. (Tiffany); grandchildren, Janyla, RaJon, Ralph III, Emerson, and Jamila, a host of nieces and nephews, family, and friends, who were all loved by Brian.
