Donald Lewis Knepp, Age 84 of Huntingtown, Maryland passed away peacefully at home on March 12, 2022. Don was born in Clarksville, Pennsylvania on February 3, 1938. He was the son of the late Peter and Hazel (Woods) Knepp. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a Prince George's County police officer for 31 years. He retired from the police department as a Lieutenant in 1991.



Don was an active member of St. Nicholas Lutheran Church in Huntingtown. He was a kind, loving soul with an infectious sense of humor, who never met a stranger. He loved spending time with his beloved family and antique toys.

Don is survived by his wife Angela, and daughters Dawn Parrish (Wes), Julie Waxham (Jon), and Justine Novy (Michael) and son Christopher Knepp, along with 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Don was predeceased by his sons Mark Knepp and John Kerby, as well as his two brothers and four sisters.



The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm where a Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private.
