Doretha S. Bannister, 73 of Nanjemoy, Maryland.

Early, Thursday morning, March 10, 2022 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland, Doretha Sampson Bannister went home to be with the Lord.

Doretha is the beloved wife of Deacon William A. Bannister and devoted mother of Aaron and Vincent Bannister. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing, 9:00 a.m. until time of Service, 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2022 in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Interment, Mt. Hope Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 8705 Gilroy Road, Nanjemoy, Maryland 20662.
