Carlysle "Small" (Carl) Vincent Tucker Jr. 74, of LaPlata, MD lost his battle with Pancreatic Cancer on the morning of February 16, 2022 at his residence.

Small (Carl to some) was born on May 2, 1947 to Carlysle Vincent Tucker Sr. and Evelyn Mae Tucker (Moffat) of SE Washington, DC. He then moved to Accokeek and then to Bryans Road. He graduated from Henry E. Lackey High School in 1966 and enlisted in the US Army where he served for 2 years. He retired from The Kelly Companies as a Warehouse Manager in 2006.

He was beloved by everyone who ever met him; A loving grandfather, supportive father, a great husband, brother, uncle, neighbor and a friend. No matter the circumstance, you'd always leave with a story of something funny Small did or said while you were with him. He loved watching the Washington Redskins (now Commanders) and yelling at the tv as if they could hear him. He loved collecting coins, dvds, watching movies (especially Westerns with John Wayne), and tv shows like America's Got Talent and American Idol. He enjoyed attending his children's sporting events while they were growing up and was a proud baseball dad. He also loved watching his granddaughter Aubrey, play Bambino Baseball, soccer, and basketball. As well as watching his ball of energy-toddler grandson Jordan, run and laugh and ask for a Hot Wheels car.

Small is survived by his wife of 47 years, Viki, his son Cody, and daughter Kristal (Jon). He is also survived by his grandchildren Aubrey and Jordan whom he loved deeply and were his greatest joys. As well as his sister Pat, brother Tommy (Alice), nephews Jerry (Joy), Jack (Sharon) Jimmy (Karen), Carl, Michael, and Danny. Nieces Peggy (Bill) and Shannon (Clayton) as well as many great nieces and nephews.

Small fought a good fight and is now at peace, joining his parents, sister Linda (Dexter), brother-in-law Jerry, niece Kathy, and great-nephew Wayne. That sure would be one fun party to be reunited at!

Services will be held at Raymond's Funeral Home on 02/25/2022 from 2pm-4pm. Accepting family at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Charles County, an organization that helped Small and his family to the very end.

Thanks for the memories…
