Delores Jeanette Washington, 65 of Indian Head, Md. departed from this life on Friday January 16, 2009 at home. She was born on February 15, 1943 in Newport, Md. to the late William Henry Whalen and the late Alice (Farmer) Whalen.

She is survived by her husband Bernard J. Washington, her children Bernard Jr. (Vera), Anthony (LaCresia), Rodney (Mavis), Allandra (John), Kevin and Timothy (Linnet), her brothers, Francis (Elsie) and James Irvin, her sisters Mary, Alice Jean (James), Irene and Shirley (Avery).

Visitation will be held on Saturday January 24th 2009 at the St. Ignatius Church, Chapel Pt., Md. from 9:30am to 11am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment to follow at the Church cemetery.
