Nancy Louise Harvey (Santini) of Huntingtown, MD, was born in Washington, D.C. on July 15, 1946 and passed away on February 14, 2022 after a long illness.

Nancy is predeceased by her parents, Nick and Dorothy, a son, Carey Jr., a granddaughter, Grace, her brothers, Tony and Donald, a brother-in-law, French, among other relatives whom she deeply loved. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Carey, two daughters, Christie (Kurt), Dana (Scott), 3 granddaughters (Skyler, Cora Lee, and Zoe Jane), a grandson (Kyle), her sister, Lucia, her brother, Nick (Juanita) a sister in law (Wanda), God-children (Jim, Brian, Angela, Billy), 2 step-granddaughters (Raynie, Lillian), many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was the third born out of five siblings. As a young child, Nancy lived in Washington, D.C. and then as a teenager attended Bladensburg High School. In her early adult years she joined the Kentland Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary, and was employed with the United States Department of Justice as well as worked in the White House.

After marrying Carey and moving to Marlton in Upper Marlboro, MD, Nancy became a dedicated church volunteer, which included teaching Faith Formation classes, and then a parent volunteer who was well known as a champion fundraiser during Christie and Dana's school years at Saint Mary's of the Assumption Catholic School and Bishop McNamara High School.

Some favorite joys in her life included spending time with family and friends, collecting "Precious Moments" figurines, cooking meals and baking desserts, making and selling crafts, crocheting, playing BINGO, and having dogs as part of her family over the years.

The family will receive friends at Jesus the Divine Word Catholic Church 885 Cox Road Huntingtown, MD 20639 on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery 1300 Bladensburg Road NE, Washington, D.C. 20002.
