![]() Jeanne Margaret Harvath, 82, of Bel Alton, MD, died January 18, 2009.
Mrs. Harvath was a home-care trainer with the Red Cross for many years. She attended George Washington University where she achieved an AA Degree. In her early years she modeled for Womans Day Magazine. She was a Marine Corps wife for 21 years and the family spent summers in her beloved Sherwood Forest. She was a good homemaker that did lots of activities with her kids. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Chapel Point, MD. Born June 14, 1926, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Edward Henry Spindler and the late Margaret Mary Roche Spindler. Wife of the late Major Michael D. Harvath, USMC (Ret.) and late daughter, Lynn Elizabeth Harvath. Survived by sons, Patrick T. Harvath of Rockville, MD; and Michael D. Harvath, II of Sherwood Forest, MD; daughter, Jeanne Elizabeth and her husband Mitch Mills of Bel Alton, MD; grandchildren, Mitchell Andrew and Mary Margaret. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, January 24, 2009, at 2:30 PM at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Chapel Point, MD. Father Edward Daughtery will officiate. Interment will take place Sunday, January 25, 2009, at 12 Noon at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Charles County, P.O.
