Keith Thomas Keister Sr., 79 of Lexington Park, Maryland passed away peacefully on Sunday February 6, 2022 at the Hospice House of St. Mary's in Callaway, Maryland with his family by his side. He was born in Winchester, Virginia on December 6, 1942 to the late Lillian Keister and John David Keister. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Eva Mae Keister whom he married on April 4, 1969.

Keith was the proud father of four boys, Keith Thomas Keister Jr. (Michelle) of West Virginia, Michael Keister (Kathleen) of Maryland, John Keister (Jannet) of Maryland and Warren Keister (Christine) of Pennsylvania. He also is survived by seven grandchildren, Sarah, Haylee, Jacob, Charles, Joshua and Lillian and his siblings, Shirley Keister, Joanna Keister and Mack Keister. He was preceded in death by siblings Robert Keister, Wanda Biller, and Dorothy Rickard. He was also proceeded in death by his dog Pepper, which was a great companion.

Keith worked in construction most of his career including Melvin's Construction, and later took up the car wash business. He retired from part ownership of Liberty Car Wash. After retirement he set out for new adventures with his wife Eva traveling around the country in his RV. They even took up residency in Florence, Arizona for a few years. They traveled to many places including the Grand Canyon which was one of his favorites. Keith encouraged people to travel which was something he enjoyed and he wanted others to experience as well.

The family will receive friends for Keith's Life Celebration on February 17, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Reverend Christopher Whetlor MDiv, at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Rd, Leonardtown, Maryland.
