Robert "Bobby" Todd Joy, 57 of Hollywood, MD, passed away on February 2, 2022 at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Washington D.C.

He was born on May 5, 1964, to the late Sherman "Buddy" Wilson Joy and Agnes "Piggy" Abell Joy.

Bobby married Margaret Ann Joy on November 28, 1992. He worked for Eagle Systems, Inc. as a Program Manager for 21 years. He was a member of Faith Bible Church in Mechanicsville, MD, and served as a deacon and treasurer of the church. Bobby had a true servants heart and spent most of his time with his church community. He also served on two short-term mission trips to Anguilla and Appalachia to repair homes and support those in need. Bobby loved spending time with his kids especially with sports. He volunteered countless hours with the King's Christian Academy soccer and track teams driving the buses to and from games and teaching kids excellence to glorify God on and off the field.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret, and his four children; Tanor Joy of Pittsburgh, PA; Garrett Joy (wife, Cylee) of Hollywood, MD; Connor Joy of Denver, CO; and Montana Harris (husband, Daniel) of Lexington Park, MD. He's survived by his three siblings; Pam Bohmann (husband, Glenn) of Hollywood, MD; Sherman "Bubby" Joy (wife, Pam) of Hollywood, MD; and Dawn Tennyson (husband, Robbie) of Hollywood, MD. He's also survived by his three grandchildren; Hudson Harris, Brooks Harris, and Elena Harris.

A memorial service will be held at Faith Bible Church in Mechanicsville, MD on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 2 p.m. Fellowship to follow after services.
