Loretta "Tiny" Regina Coombs, age 73 of La Plata, Maryland, died on January 27, 2022 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland.

Loretta was a Kitchen Supervisor at the Charles County Board of Education.

She was the daughter of Archibald Lyles and Ray Inez Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, James Thomas and Ricky Thomas and her sister, Mary Lou Harris.

She is survived by her husband, David Coombs; her daughters, Antoinette Lyles (Desmond Queen) of Mechanicsville, Maryland and Barbara Lyles (James Lancaster) of Waldorf, Maryland; her brothers, Anthony Thomas and Timothy Thomas; and her sisters, Doris Pearson, Barbara Covington, Theresa Campbell, Helen Miles, and Frances Johnson. She is also survived by three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 9AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Interment to follow in the church cemetery, 405 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646.
