Lorraine Louise Farina, 82 of Mechanicsville, MD died on September 25, 2006 at her residence.

Born on May 5, 1924 in Rochester, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Hazel Ball. She was a homemaker all her life. Her enjoyments were arts and crafts, and sewing; making clothes.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Michael Farina.

Survived by daughter, Renee Lorraine Wiles, sister, Marilyn Furr of North Carolina, and three grandchildren, Michael & Brian Hickman, and Annette Barnett, five great-grandchildren, Samantha, Drew, Tristian, Marcus, and Braxton.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 28, 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. in The Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD where a service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2006 at 11AM. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
