Martha Coleman Jones, 90 of Annapolis, formerly of St. Leonard, Maryland, passed away January 15, 2022, in the loving care of her children.

She was born, September 29, 1931 in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania to the late Murray Glenn and Virginia Pearl Coleman.

She moved to the DC area when she was 17 and worked for the FBI where she met the love of her life, Walter S. Jones. She was a homemaker after having her children for many years but returned to work at the Naval Sea Systems Command as a Logistics Management Specialist.

She enjoyed bowling, her gardens, traveling and especially spending time with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter S. Jones. She is survived by her children, Joy L. Schoenbauer (Bob), and Jill L. Cropper (Phil): her grandchildren Christopher Schoenbauer (Michelle), Jennifer Francisco (Jesiel), Bradley Schoenbauer (Tracy) and Ryan Schoenbauer (Autumn) and her great grandchildren Evan, Bryn, Nolan, Reese and Alex Schoenbauer and her great granddoggy Melli.

The family will receive friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD on Friday January 21, 2022 from 10 until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM.
