Paul August DeBerry, 60, of Calvert County passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at his home with family by his side. Paul graciously fought a long battle of Kidney Cancer and Multiple Sclerosis. Paul is survived by his wife of 42 years Karen DeBerry, son Jonathan DeBerry (Nikki Nelson), and daughter Jennifer Paton. Poppy to Terver DeBerry 16, Brody Paton 11, Alyssa Paton 8 and Hudson Paton 3; Biological mother Brenda Ledford; Siblings Timothy DeBerry (Shannon), Billie Jo DeBerry and Terry Kates; a very large and loving extended family comprised of aunts/uncles, brother/sister in laws, nieces/nephews (which he absolutely adored), great nieces/nephews and many friends. Paul was preceded in death by his father William Glenn DeBerry Jr, mother Pauline Margaret DeBerry, and sister Tina Marie Pinion.

Paul enjoyed fishing, family parties, playing with his grandkids and spending time his family and friends.

In light of Covid-19, we will not be holding a funeral service. The family has chosen to host a celebration of life when it's safe for everyone to attend. Information on the Celebration of life will be forthcoming.
