Katheryne Ann Fort, 22, of Nanjemoy, MD, died January 8, 2009.

Katheryne worked with American Choice Cleaning Company and was a member of New Life Church in La Plata, MD. She participated with Girl Scouts and ROTC at La Plata High School where she graduated in 2004. She enjoyed playing darts with the Dart League and loved her pets.

Born January 12, 1986, in La Plata, MD, she was the daughter of Mack Edward Keefer and Christine Ann Sosbe Gatton.

She is survived by her parents; step-father, Bryan Gatton, Sr.; husband, Kevin W. Fort; sister, Heidi L. Keefer of Prince Frederick, MD; step-brother, Bryan Gatton, Jr. of St. Leonard, MD; paternal grandparents, Wilbur and Donna Keefer of Mt. Storm, WV; maternal grandparents, Glenn and Maddie Sosbe of La Plata, MD; and David and Carol Maddox of Williamsburg, VA. She is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many others.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009, from 10am-12pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

A Funeral Service will follow on Thursday, January 15, 2009, at 12pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD. Clergy will be the Rev. Mike Hilson.

Pallbearers will be Gene Herbert, Matthew Herbert, Michael Mann, Jr., Robert Mann, Edward Clements, Jr., and Jerry Sisler. Honorary Pallbearer will be Colin Proctor.

Interment will take place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
