Barbara Ann Casselman Maddox, 77, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away on Thursday,
December 30, 2021 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata.

Born on November 15, 1944 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John and Eva Petak. Barbara enjoyed retirement after dedicating 40 years of federal government service, with the majority as a civil servant for the Department of Education. She
enjoyed swimming, reading, baking, cheering for the Washington Capitals and Nationals, and spending time with her family and friends. Barbara was of the Catholic faith and attended Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Waldorf.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her late husband Jack Maddox Jr. and sister Evelyn Vitalie.

She is survived by her sons Terry Casselman and his wife Stephanie, Chris Casselman and his fiancé Susan; her brother Robert (Bob) Petak, grandchildren Heather Brensinger and her husband Tony, Brittany Casselman, Lauren Casselman, Justin Casselman, Ryan Casselman and his wife Bailey, and Zachary Casselman; great grandchildren Collin Vallandingham, Lexi Vallandingham, Aubree Brensinger, Cami Casselman, Sophia Casselman, Kayleigh Brensinger, Layla Gill, Makenzie Brensinger, Oakley Tennyson, Rielyn Tennyson, and a new great-grandchild on the way.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 4PM to 7PM with Prayers at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11AM at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 100 Village Street, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.

Interment to follow Mass in St. Peter's Catholic Church Cemetery on Poplar Hill Road in Waldorf.
