James "Jim Boy" L. Jones, 76, of Newburg, MD passed away on January 8, 2009 at his residence.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank T. Jones and Alberta L. Jones, nine brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his Sons; James L. Jones (Bubba), Thomas W. Jones (Tommy), Arthur E. Jones, Paul V. Jones, and daughter; Jean M. Stephenson (Sissy). Also twelve Grandchildren, ten Great-Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Jim Boy liked playing horseshoes, cards, wild game hunting, fishing, crabbing, oystering, and painting. He played baseball for Hardesty's Inn and was also a bartender at Robertson Crab House.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 from 12 pm until 6 pm at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. in La Plata, MD. A Service will be held during that time at 5 pm. Interment will be private.

Memorial donations may be made to the Newburg VFD and Rescue Squad.
