April Ann Cox Lowe of Crofton, Maryland died at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD on Monday, September 25, 2006. She was 41 years old.

Born on May 18, 1965 in Washington, DC, April is the daughter of Glenna E. and the late Woodland Eugene Cox Sr. She attended La Plata High School and graduated with the Class of '83. She worked as a Supervisory Contract Specialist for the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) division of the Department of Justice. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was always giving and helping those she came in contact with.

In addition to her father, April was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Glenn and Anna McGinnis; paternal grandparents Gilbert and June Cox.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Richard E. "Ritchie" Lowe; daughter Ashley Lynn Lowe; sister Mary E. Morris; brother Woodland E. "Woody" Cox Jr.; special niece and nephew Erica and Jonathan Cornu; many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Family to receive friends on Friday, September 29, 2006 from 6PM – 8PM, Saturday, September 30, 2006 from 2PM – 4PM and on Sunday, October 1, 2006 from 2PM until time of Service at 4PM at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. 30195 Three Notch Rd. Charlotte Hall, Maryland. Interment will be private.
