Annette Hutchins Wilfong, 101, of Solomons, Maryland, passed away December 4, 2021, in Prince Frederick. She was born on August 11, 1920, in Prince Frederick to the late Clarence Thomas and Annette Northam Hutchins.

Annette was a life-long member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a member of the Calvert County Historical Society. She possessed a wealth of knowledge about Calvert County history. Annette retired on July 15, 1975, after 34 years of service to the Department of Justice. She was very proud to be one of the Pioneers (first residents) of Asbury Retirement Community in Solomons. She loved living at Asbury where she was extremely active and involved in the community. The staff and residents were like family to her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband James C. Wilfong, who died April 2, 1987, brother T. Reid Hutchins, and sister Miriam H. Stier. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many beloved friends.

There will be a graveside service for family and friends on December 14th at 11:00am at Asbury Cemetery, 3700 Hallowing Point Road, Prince Frederick, Maryland. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 90 Church Street, Prince Frederick, Maryland 20678.
