Daniel E. Dempsey, 51, of La Plata, MD passed away on January 3, 2009. Born on September 10, 1957 in Bradford, PA.

He was an avid Redskins fan, loved driving, Drag Racing, and watching Nascar.

He is survived by his parents; Richard E. Dempsey and Doreen Dempsey. Sister; Debra Hobbs (Don), Niece Carrie Rollins (David) and her son Brenan Rollins, and many other relatives and friends.

He is predeceased by a brother; David Dempsey, and Sister; Susan Dempsey.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2009 from 2 pm until 5 pm. A prayer service will be at 5 pm. Father Ronald Potts will officiate. Interment will be private. Donations may be made to the Mount Carmel Monastery.
