Vernon Edward Terrill, 78, of Little River, SC, formerly of Chesapeake Beach, MD passed away June 27, 2021 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Vernon was born July 15, 1942 in Nutwell, MD to Gladys Gertrude (Catterton) and Clifford Aaron Terrill, and was raised in Deale, Owings and Chesapeake Beach, MD. Vernon played high school basketball and was one of the best players on the team. He married his high school sweetheart, June, in 1962. He was known as a hard worker and was a brick mason for 55 years. He developed a strong reputation for his quality and creative work. He retired in Little River, South Carolina, where he continued his love of landscaping. Vernon was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Gladys Terrill and his brother, Clifford M Terrill. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, June, daughter, Connie Gamertsfelder and her husband, Tom, son, Vernon, Jr., grandchildren, Jessica and Gannon Terrill, and sisters Patricia Fowler and Bonnie Sullivan. Vernon loved spending time with family and watching the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles.
