Charles "Curtis" Harrell passed away suddenly on June 21, 2021 at his home in Newburg, Maryland at the age of 47. Curtis was the type of human who loved everyone and everyone loved him back. His smile, laugh, and comic relief lit up any room. He would greet you with a "Hello Sunshine or Hello Governor" (in a British accent) and you would immediately feel comforted by his charm. If you were Curtis' friend you were his family.

On May 1, 2010 he married the love of his life, Julie, who has been by his side for over 17 years. Julie ("Mama") and Curtis spent their younger years as the life of the party and couple that everyone wanted to be, and be around. He was the yin to Julie's yang, and life without him will never be the same.

Curtis was an extraordinary car painter and people-person where he worked at Caliber Collision. He received high accolades for "turning shops around" and making others feel confident in their roles. He never complained about having to fill-in for someone or spend extra time helping them refine their skills.

Curtis loved all his daughters, biological and bonus, fiercely. They were the reason for his hard work and dedication to family and career. Curtis spent many nights on the front porch with his oldest bonus daughters providing them with advice and guidance on how to navigate life's challenges.

The first pride and joy of his life was Alayna. Curtis and Alayna have the same personality and are spitting images of each other. They have tons of inside jokes that none of us will ever understand.

His youngest daughter, Madelyn, was "Daddy's baby girl". You could often find Curtis at choir performances and science events at the local elementary school wearing his Caliber Collison shirt because he would come straight from work.

His legacy and stories will live on through his family, many friends, and those he loved.

Curtis is survived by his loving wife and best friend Julie, daughters Holly, Heather (Joe), Alayna, and Madelyn. Sisters Leslie Dodge (Ken), Stacy Enzor (Dale) , and nephews Cody and Scott Dodge and Alex Crupi.

Curtis was preceded in death by his father Charles Harrell, and mother Nancy Harrell.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made in Curtis' name to the Caliber Collision Foundation by going to - https://calibercollision.com/about-us/community-involvement/food-drive
