Tami Marie (Dyer) DeHoyos, age 45, passed away in her home in Waldorf, MD on December 17, 2008. Born December 4, 1963, Tami lived most of her life in Maryland and had recently moved back after living in Mt. Pleasant, SC. A graduate of Lackey High School and UMBC, Tami was very intelligent, extremely energetic, athletic, and highly competitive. She enjoyed aerobics, fitness, weightlifting, volley ball, softball, going to the movies and American Idol.

Tami is survived by her son Steven Lancaster, husband LCDR Mike DeHoyos, U S Navy, her parents Joe and Pat Dyer, brothers Joe and Mike Dyer, step children Niki and Tony DeHoyos, and her beloved canine companion Jackie.

Family and Friends will honor Tami's life with visitation followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church located at 28297 Old Village Rd. in Mechanicsville, MD. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. followed by Mass at 11:00 A.M on Monday, December 22, 2008.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that contributions be made in Tami's memory to Hope and Healing With Horses Bereavement Camp, c/o Green Gate Farms 13730 Bobtown Rd., Princess Anne, MD 21853.
