Percy Leonard "Pat" Fulcher, 75, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away at Bridgepoint Hospital-Capital Hill on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. He was born on June 5, 1945 to the late Percy Edward Fulcher and Dorothy Norris Fulcher.

After high school, Pat enlisted in the United States Air Force. He would go on to serve his country and family proud. On leave after his heroic time in Vietnam, Pat would meet his future wife, Janet. After twenty years of dedicated service, he would retire honorably.

Pat was a kind and compassionate man, who loved his wife, beyond all measure. Their love was true and they've spent over fifty-one years being the constant and best part of each other. Although they never had any children, Pat loved his nieces and nephews like his own.

He was a farrier by trade and animal friend by choice. Pat loved every day he got to spend in the fields or barn shoeing horses. Being a farrier is an art that takes years of practice and skill that Pat possessed. After many years, Pat began to work on his blacksmithing skills and his talents knew no bounds. His passion for his art was infectious and he would go on to mentor many young people.

Pat is survived by his loving wife, Janet D. Fulcher of Mechanicsville, MD; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, David Fulcher and Nathan Fulcher.
