Ray Ambrose Lusk, 80, of, Mechanicsville, MD passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Ray was born on August 9, 1940 in Crumpler, West Virginia to the late Terry Ishamael Lusk and Goldie Ellen Milam.

As a young man, Ray grew up in Crumpler, WV, where he graduated high school and continued his education and completed two years at Concord College, Athens, WV. After college he would go on to enlist in the United States ARMY and was a proud member of the 101St Airborne.

Ray would meet the love of his life Antonia and their love would grow and together they would go on to celebrate over 55 years of marriage. Ray supported his family as an Elevator Foreman and Supervisor where he made many lifetime friends along the way. After his retirement, he loved to spend his days with his wife, children, grandchildren and the great-grandchildren.

Ray was an honorable and humble man. He loved his family and cherished spending time with them. He was a man who loved his community and was a proud member of the American Legion, Rotary Club and a Boy Scout Leader. Ray enjoyed spending time with the members that he considered family more than friends. On a sunny day, Ray loved to hit the links and smack a few balls off the tee with his friends. He would cruise around on his golf cart and enjoy the solitude and quiet of the golf course.

They say love is never-ending and when a man like Ray loved, it was forever. He taught his family to be kind, compassionate, forgiving and hard-working. He will be missed by family and friends and his kind smile and warm heart will be forever remembered.

Ray is survived by his loving wife, Antonia C. Lusk of Mechanicsville, MD; children, Michael Lusk (Janeen), Anthony Lusk (Lori), Joseph Lusk (Sue), Ann Heath (Luke) and Caroline Pikulski (Bill). He was the proud grandfather of eight (8) grandchildren, Steven, Kelly, Maegan, Kyle, Alex, Alexa Rae, Cody and Billy; and nine (9) great-grandchildren, Jaidyn, Landon, Jonathan, Ellie, Emiela Rae, Presleigh, Corbin, Raegan and Braxten. He is also survived by siblings, Irven Lusk, Johnnie Lusk, Lorraine Vaughan and Anitta Yates and many extended family members.
