Mr. Gormican passed away Friday, October 27, 2006 at Calvert Memorial Hospital. Beloved father of three, Michael, Kelly,and Derick; grandfather of Christopher Birkett; father -in-law of David Birkett and Tonie Youells; sisters Marylou and Judy.

John served in the Navy and Air Force for 21 years. He was awarded the Purple Heart when wounded on March 15, 1952, when the USS Wisconsin took a direct hit off the east coast of North Korea. Rest in Peace.
