Kenneth "Kenny" Eugene Mills, Sr., 74, of Charlotte Hall, MD passed away peacefully on March 24, 2021 at his home. He was born on January 24, 1947 in Frederick, Maryland to the late, James Fred Mills, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth (Page) Mills.

Kenny married the love of his life, Jeannette, in June, 1979 and together they spent thirty-four (34) wonderful years of marriage until her untimely passing in December, 2013. He worked as a Supply Rep. for the DoD in Pax River until his retirement.

A strong man with a kind word for all, he was the patriarch of his adoring family. Kenny never liked to sit around idly and would tinker around his workshop for hours on end. He enjoyed working on model trucks, cars and ships. His attention to the smallest detail made his models true works of art. When the weather was nice, he could be found outside working in his garden. A green thumb gave him the ability to produce bountiful produce and vibrant colors all seasons long.

Above all, Kenny loved spending time with his family and friends. His children and grandchildren were his purpose for life. His presence may be gone, but his legacy will live on in the bright smiles, sweet laughter and sparkling eyes of his family. He is now reunited in heaven with his beloved Jeannette and together they are proud of their family and smiling down upon them.

Kenny is survived by his children, Kenneth Eugene Mills, Jr. (Kandi) of Davidsonville, MD, Eric Allen Mills of Charlotte Hall, MD, Mary Elizabeth Guevarez (Rico) of Jacksonville, FL, Kathryn Shirley Mills of Baltimore, MD and Elizabeth A. Mills of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Dustin, Mikenna, Brooke, Brent, Katarina, Grace, Juanita, Julianna, Annie, Joseph, Mariano and great-grand-daughter, Bailey. He is also survived by siblings, Richard Mills (Donna) of Pittsville, MD, Bruce Yokley of Lexington Park, MD and Jamie Cover (Allen) of Bedford, PA. Kenny is preceded in death by his James and Mary Mills; grandsons, Shawn David Morgan and Rico Thomas Guevarez; and siblings, Louise Carver and Betty Wilcox.

The family will receive friends for Kenny's Visitation on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622 with a Funeral Service being held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
