Tressa Rena Gray, 56 of Bryans Road, Maryland.

On Saturday, December 5, 2020, a precious soul peacefully entered into eternal rest.

A Time to be Born

Tressa Rena Keys Gray, affectionately known to many as "Tee", was born to the late William "Billy" Keys and Adelaide Keys-Proctor on September 5, 1964.

A Time to Plant

She was educated in the Charles County Public School system and graduated from Henry E. Lackey High School in 1982. Tressa continued her education by attending the former Charles County Community College (College of Southern Maryland). Tressa began her career with the Federal Government where she worked in various positions for several years. After leaving the Federal Government she worked for the Charles County Government.

A Time to Sow

Tressa accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized by the late Reverend William Leach. She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church where she continued to grow spiritually under the leadership of Pastor Samuel A. King. As a member she served on the Praise Dance Ministry. This is where Tressa blossomed. Her love for praise dancing brought her so much joy. While praise dancing you could see the beauty of the sprit and the glow shining within her. Her beautiful expression of movement is how God used her to communicate His heart to His people.

A Time to Reap

On September 10, 2005, Tressa united in marriage to David Gray, Jr. They cherished their quality time together and enjoyed the moments spent with their grandkids. Tressa loved her grandkids! They were her sunshine and always brought her so much love and joy. She enjoyed her weekends with them and the yearly vacations. Tressa enjoyed exercising, dancing, bike riding and yoga. She was also an avid sports fan, especially for her beloved Washington Football Team. Those rivalry Washington and Dallas football games were so much fun and provided a lot of laughter and joy in her household. Tressa was kind, caring, loving and always willing to lend a helping hand. She was a bright light in the world and will be missed and loved forever.

A Time to Reflect

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her Grandparents; Amos "Daddy" and Lucille "Mama" Gaines, Bill and Nellie Keys, Uncles; Christopher, William and Randel Gaines, Lowell Keys, Aunts; Paula and Cathy Gaines and her Niece; Jade Renee.

Tressa will be forever remembered by her devoted husband of 15 years, David, Jr., two sons; Vincent, Jr. and David III; one daughter; Nicole, eight grandchildren; Kaylee, Vincent III, Makenzie, Justus, Luna, Leigh, Titus, and Joyiana, parents; Adelaide and Donald Proctor, one sister; Patrice "Angel" Keys, one bonus sister; Kim Ray, one special Aunt; "Nanny", one special cousin; Keisha, in-laws; David and Sandra Gray, Sr., one daughter-in-law; Ronnekia, five Godchildren and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
