Jeannie was a Self-employed Child Care provider for more than 30 years and a member of the Church of God in Great Mills, MD. She enjoyed knitting, her animals, and being with friends and family.

She was the daughter of the late Howard H. Miller and the living Laura Jean Hall Miller.

She is predeceased by her father.

She is survived by her mother, Laura J. Miller, her fiancee, Frank Guy, two sons, David L. and Craig R. Scopin, both of Great Mills, MD, three sisters, Millie Beeman of Charlotte Hall, MD, Mary Buckler of Deale, MD, and Joyce Morgan of Mechanicsville, MD, four brothers, Allen Miller of La Plata, MD, Tom Miller of Lexington Park, MD, Fred Miller of Mechanicsville, MD, and David Miller of La Plata, MD. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

A Funeral Service will follow on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 11am at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Clergy will be the Rev. Dennis Harmon.

Interment will take place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie, Howard, Allen, and Tom Miller, Jr., Gary Beeman, Gene Wedding, and David and Al Buckler.
