Jason Markell Estep, 35 of California, MD entered into eternal life on November 29, 2020 in Manassas, VA. Jason was born in Leonardtown, MD on August 12, 1985 to the late Sylvia Elizabeth Marshall and Jeffrey James Marshall.

He was educated in the St. Mary's County School System, graduating from Leonardtown High School in 2003. After high school Jason worked for several Government Contractors at NAS Patuxent River, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and Joint Base Charleston until he became ill and was unable to work.

Jason was very loving, caring and supportive. He was an amazing uncle, supporting his nieces and nephews in all that they did. Jason especially enjoyed spending time with his niece Mekhia and nephew Marcel watching shows such as Wild 'n Out and Keenan & Kel and Martin. Jason would attend all their games and was one of their biggest fans. He also enjoyed cheering on his favorite sports teams, the Seattle Seahawks, the Washington Wizards and Duke University. One of the highlights of Jason's life was being "Poise" a member of the rap group Solo 4 alongside Chris (Skeez) Marcus (DJMG), Richard (IllOne), Corey (Nova) and Chuck (KonceptSs). Jason cherished his many close friendships (way too many to name individually).

In addition to his parents, Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Sarah Holt and Howard Nelson and his paternal grandparents Clarissa Marshall and Shannon Marshall.

Jason leaves to cherish his loving memories his three sisters: Nickey Holt (James Goldring), Davida Barnes (Estep) and Alisha Marshall and one brother Damon Estep. Nieces and Nephews: Destiny, Dymond, Danazia, Troy Jr., Mekhia, Marcel Jr., Kimorianna, Daelyn, Noah and Nazir and a great-nephew Nolan and great-niece Nionni, three aunts: Sheena Holt, Selina Holt-Jackson (William) and Selma Scruggs (Ronald), three uncles, Jerome Holt, James Holt (Andre) and Sterling Marshall along with a host of cousins, extended family and friends.

Family will unite with friends on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 for a graveside service at Charles Memorial Garden in Leonardtown, Maryland at 10:00 am.
