Steven J. Post "Steve", of Hughesville, MD passed on November 30, 2020 at the age of 75 years.

Born in Ardmore, OK the son of Ruth Lavern and Hamilton Ringland Post.

The family moved to Washington, PA when Steve was young. Steve spent his early years there in a community where he felt safe with good school and community fairs. Steve entered the United States Air Force after graduation from high school. He attended school there for seven months learning Aircraft Equipment. After serving for four years, Steve re-enlisted for another four years at Andrews Air Force base. He was honorably discharged, receiving many awards and decorations.

After serving 8 years of active duty, Steve re-enlisted and served 8 years at the DC Air National Guard. When his military life ended, Steve started working at White Oak Naval Ordinance Laboratory where he was an electronics technician at their lab. There he spent the next 17 years before retiring with a total of 41 years of service for the US Government.

Steve enjoyed watching TV, reading and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Beloved Husband of Elsie Cecelia Post; Loving Father of Andrew (Jennifer) Post of Owings, MD, Francis (Julie) Post of MD, Debra (Allan) Tucker of Hughesville, MD, John McKenzie of Front Royal VA, Richard McKenzie of Mechanicsville, MD, Michael (Laura) McKenzie of Mechanicsville, MD, Bobby (Donna) McKenzie also of Mechanicsville, MD and Ronnie (Tammy) McKenzie of Lexington Park, MD; Dear Brother of Anna Knestrick and Mark Post both of PA; Also survived by many grandchildren, and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Steve was also predeceased by his daughter, the late Annie Post and daughter-in law, the late Sharon McKenzie.
