Peggy was an Office Manager for 32 years, working primarily with Mobile Mechanic Service in Prince Frederick, MD. Over the years, Peggy worked for various local firms in Southern Maryland, including Rockingham Construction, Scheibel Construction, Southern Maryland Hospital, and Toyota of Marlow Heights, MD. She was a member of the Hog Chapter Motorcycle Club in Hughesville, MD, Moose Lodge of Mechanicsville, MD, and Abate of Maryland, Inc. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and fiancee. She enjoyed her family, home remodeling, decorating, crafts, and scrap-booking.

She was the daughter of Philip G. Rigby, Sr. and Naomi Hyndshaw.

She is survived by her parents, fiancee, Donald Unkle of Prince Frederick, MD, one son, Jason (Dawn) Southard of Lexington Park, MD, one daughter, Mandy (Danny) Dean of Dameron, MD, two sisters, Sharon Miller and Nonie Whiting, and four brothers, Philip, Patrick, Joseph, and Timothy Rigby. Also survived by eight grandchildren, five nieces, and six nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8, 2008 from 5-8pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

A Funeral Service will follow on Monday, December 8, 2008 at 7pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Clergy will be Father Fred MacIntyre.
