Wilford S. "Zeke" Seaton, age 78, died December 4, 2008 at Calvert Memorial Hospital, Prince Frederick, MD. He was born September 5, 1930 in Maryville, Tennessee, where he attended Everette High School.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1947 to 1949 as a Private First Class, Company G, 2nd Battalion, 7th Division of the 8th Army. He married Mary Sue Abbott on November 7, 1949, and they lived in Tennessee until moving to Riverdale, MD in 1952, where they lived and raised their family until moving to Huntingtown in 1997. For the past several years they have lived in North Beach.

He was a machinist and worked for Baxter Industries in Savage, MD where he made medical equipment and instruments. He previously worked for Airco, a defense contractor in Riverdale, MD and for Aero-Geo- Astro, an aerospace company in College Park, MD. He enjoyed time with his family and fishing, hunting and reading in his spare time.

He is survived by his wife Mary Sue Seaton, daughters Billie Rhea Mozden (Bob), Jeanette Decatur, Annette Shaw, Carol McKenzie (Tom) and Susan Pharis, sons Wilford and James Seaton and Thomas Dalton (Theresa), a brother Bill Seaton, 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son Harry E. Seaton, a daughter Lorena Sue Seaton, sisters Ellen Myers, Pearl Tatum and Carolyn Blanche LaPort, and brothers Ray, Howard and Gene Seaton.
