Louis David Curry, 85, of White Plains, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Sage Point Senior Living in La Plata, Maryland.

Born on February 8, 1935 in Pleasureville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Houston Luther Curry and Hallie Curry. Lou served in the U. S. Army until he was Honorably Discharge in 1957. Having a Master's Degree in History, Lou worked as a Supervisor Archivist for the National Archives mainly declassifying Classified documents until retiring after 24 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post 293 in Waldorf. Lou enjoyed league bowling, reading and coin collecting.

He is survived by his wife Sharon L. Curry; son Kevin Paul Curry and his wife Cindy; grandchildren Thomas Curry and Katelyn Curry.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646 with the Reverend Laurie Ward-Gates officiating. Pallbearers: Alan Brand, Thomas Curry, Rick Baggett, Colin Velez, Chris Krikstan, and Kevin Curry.

Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
